Rudy is our handsome big softie. At first he can come across as nervous but once you get to know him you can see his giddy side and loves nothing better than to go out and explore.
He is extremely strong on his lead and on his walks which is something his new owner would have to bare in mind. He does benefit from a burn off to release his energy in our secure exercise area as he is such an energetic dog and enjoys playing and chasing tennis balls.
Rudy has been able to socialise well with other dogs whilst he has been in our care however due to his size and the fact he enjoys his own space we wouldn’t suggest he is rehomed with another dog.
Rudy came to us as a stray so we have no idea on where he lived before or any history. An ideal owner for Rudy would be one that has had previous large breed experience. Due to his size and temperament we would recommend that he live with children 16+ – subject to a successful meet.
