Points to consider before applying.

Dog Walking and Care

Taking our dogs for walks on the lead, in the public green space near our site. Playing with the dogs off-lead in our secure areas.

Kennel Buddying

Kennel buddying is great for volunteers to help us out with dogs who are wanting that extra bit of affection or are getting stressed in the kennel environment.

Doggie Housekeeping

Every dog has a bed and a bowl every day, and we need to ensure a clean supply. We have dog kitchen and laundry facilities, and loading and unloading washers is an essential volunteer role.

If you aren’t able to commit to a set day every week then why not join our events team?

We are always in need of volunteers to help at events each year both on our premises and representing the Home at other venues such as Crufts, Dog Fest, Cheshire County Show amongst many more! Some events involve running a stall with merchandise, a raffle or a tombola. Some events we just need helping hands and people who are happy to represent our charity.
