This big and bouncy girl is Valkyrie.  She is a very sweet girl who is always ready to dish out lots of affection and is always such a good girl when she visits the vet.  She was quite nervous when she first came into us but has come on leaps and bounds.  Valkyrie’s favourite part of the day without a doubt is her off lead time in our compound where she can run around with her toys to her hearts content.  Valkyrie does know her basic commands but would benefit from ongoing training and socialisation. We are looking for an active home for her with someone who is used to large breed active dogs.  Breed experience would be an advantage. Valkyrie will need a private secure garden.

Valkyrie has socialised with other dogs whilst in our care and is happy to go on social walks with other dogs but does prefer her own space so for this reason we would like her to be the only dog in the home.  The potential adopter would have to continue her socialisation with other dogs outside of the home to build up her confidence around them.

As Valkyrie came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on her so would prefer any children in the home to be 14+ years.
