Meet this gorgeous boy Beauty!
Beauty is still just a young boisterous puppy who doesn’t know his size. He loves to play and great everyone he meets with a wagging tail. He can get overexcited and mouth when playing, so will need all of the basic training to help him with his manners. His new family is going to need to be able to commit to taking him to puppy classes. Due to his size and breed we are after a family that has large/giant breed experience and are able to put up with his puppy antics. He loves his off lead time to run around and play with toys so a large enclosed private garden is essential. He is going to need enough space to roam freely so a flat would not be suitable for him.
Newfoundland’s need a lot of regular grooming so we need a family that have the time or means to commit to ensuring that this is done weekly. As a breed they are known for their swimming skills, so it would be good if his new family would be able to take him to classes to help burn off energy and also help with his joints as he grows. Large breed dogs are prone to certain health conditions so please ensure you have done your research before applying for Beauty.
Beauty has socialised well with dogs whilst in our care, so we believe that he could possibly be rehomed with another dog of a similar size and temperament. He is going to be boisterous when playing so another large young dog that can tolerate this is a must.
Due to his size Beauty needs to be in an adult only home, with a family that has large/giant breed experience.
