Meet Tilly! Tilly (26kg)  is a very friendly, affectionate girl who absolutely loves a fuss and attention from people.  She is a giddy, excitable character with a big personality and plenty of enthusiasm for life! When she wants your attention, she can be quite vocal and isn’t shy about letting you know.  Tilly can get very excited and does like to jump up, so her new family will need to continue working with her on her manners and help her learn to keep all four paws on the floor.  She enjoys going out for walks and loves taking her time to have a good sniff and explore her surroundings.  She can be a little jumpy when visiting new places, so she would benefit from patient owners who will give her time to build her confidence and settle into unfamiliar environments.  One of Tilly’s favourite staff-time activities is chasing the hose pipe while the kennels are being cleaned!  She is playful, curious and always ready to get involved in whatever is happening.  Tilly is looking for a loving home that will appreciate her fun-loving, affectionate nature and help her continue to learn and grown in confidence in new situations.  She has bags of character and will make a wonderful companion for the right family. Tilly would benefit from a private secure garden.

Tilly has interacted with other dogs while in our care, and is very under-socialised.  She does get quite scared around them, so we feel she would be best rehomed as the only dog in the home, where she can take her time building her confidence with dogs outside of the home in a controlled environment with the full support of her new adopter.

As Tilly came into the home as a stray, we have no previous history on her so we would prefer any children in the home to be 14+ years.
