She arrived into our care as a stray.
On arrival, Shadow was very nervous of new people and the kennel environment.
However, it didn’t take too long to gain her trust and she is now a bouncy, playful and happy young lady around those she has built a bond with. Shadow adores being made a fuss of once she is comfortable around you.
Shadow thoroughly enjoys her daily walks. This is when she is most likely to show her silly side as she loves to whizz around doing zoomies!
When meeting other dogs, Shadow can at first be reserved and unsure of the situation. With some she plays nicely and with others she does bark and lunge.
Shadow has been out to a home but was unfortunately returned to us a short time later due to her fear of strangers and behaviour around some dogs. For this reason, Shadow requires a patient and understanding owner who is willing to invest the time on working with her issues.
Although improvements have been made here at the home, Shadow is still a little unsure when meeting new people and for this reason she may require several visits from successful applicants before the adoption can take place.
Shadow is looking for a home where her new owners are able to commit to the ongoing training and socialisation she needs to live a happy life.
Children in the household must be over the age of 16 years and she is unable to live with cats.
