Selma

Meet sweet Selma.

Selma came into us as an extremely petrified stray. She was a shy lady who was nervous to the outside world or anybody she met however with the help from staff members, she has became more confident and will now come up to staff. She takes treats super gently and she has started to show how loving and affectionate she is. She has more recently allowed the staff to put her on a lead and take her out for a short walk and she has done amazingly well.

She has socialised well with other dogs since being with us at Cheshire and shown no sign of aggression to either people or dogs, despite her fears. For this reason, we feel like she could potentially live with another dog, dependent on a successful dog meet.

However, due to Shelma coming to us as a stray and her nervous disposition, we feel she will need to be adopted by an adult only family with a quiet home.

We do not know how she would react to cats at this stage.
