Meet Peggy! Peggy is looking for an active and loving forever home.  When she first meets new people, she can be a little nervous, but once she gets to know you, her affectionate and loving personality really shines through.  She absolutely loves cuddles, belly rubs and spending time with her people.  She is a very energetic, playful and high-energy young dog who will need a home that can keep up with her.  An active home who enjoys plenty of walks, playtime, training and enrichment would be ideal for her. She can get over-excited and does tend to jump up, so she will need continued training and consistent boundaries to help her learn appropriate greetings.  On walks, she can become very excited and spins on the lead, so her new adopter will need to continue working patiently on her lead manners.  With time, consistency and positive training, she has plenty of potential to become a fantastic walking companion.  She will need patience while she builds confidence around new people. She is a young dog with lots of love and enthusiasm to give.  She may need a little time to settle and gain confidence, but once she feels comfortable, she is friendly, affectionate and full of fun.  If you are looking for an energetic young companion and are prepared to put the time into training she could be the perfect dog for you. Peggy will need a private secure garden.

Peggy has socialised well with other dogs whilst in our care, so we feel she could potentially be rehomed with another dog of similar size and energy levels following a successful meet and greet. (must be neutered)

As Peggy came into the home as a stray, we have no previous history on her and as she can be a little nervous around new people we would prefer any children in the home to be 14+ years.
