Meet Minnie!  Minnie is a lovely little girl who may be a little timid when you first meet her.  She can take some time to feel comfortable and confident with new people, but once she knows and trusts you, her true personality really shines through.  Minnie is a very friendly, affectionate little girl who absolutely loves attention.  Once she has bonded with you, she enjoys nothing more than a fuss, cuddles and being close to her people.  She is a loving girl who thrives on reassurance and gentle encouragement.  Minnie can be quite vocal when she can’t see her person and may need to slowly learn to feel safe when she is left alone and understand being left alone is nothing to worry about. Her new adopter must be prepared to help and support her through this.  She is also nervous about being on a lead, so she’ll need someone willing to take things slowly and help build her confidence with walks and the outside world.  Minnie is looking for a patient and understanding home where she can settle at her own pace.  She will need reassurance, consistency and plenty of love while she learns to trust and feel secure.  If you are looking for a loving companion and are prepared to give Minnie the time and reassurance she needs, this sweet girl could be the perfect addition to your family.  Breed experience would be an advantage. Minnie would love a private secure garden to run around in.

Minnie has socialised with other dogs while in our care.  She can be avoidant and very unsure around them so we feel she would be best rehomed as the only dog in the home where the adopter can slowly build up her confidence around other dogs in a controlled environment with lots of positive reinforcement.

We are unsure how Minnie would react around cats.

As Minnie came into the home as a stray, we have no previous history on her, and as she can be quite timid we would prefer any children/visiting children in the home to be 14+ years.
