Meet Joey!  Joey is a slightly timid but incredibly sweet and friendly boy who loves nothing more than a good fuss and plenty of attention from his people.  Once he gets to know you, his lovely personality really shines through.  He is a very energetic and lively young Terrier, so he’s looking for a active home where he can enjoy plenty of exercise, playtime and enrichment.  Joey absolutely loves his toys, with squeaky balls being a particular favourite.  Like many young Terriers, Joey can be easily distracted – especially when his favourite toys are around!  He is learning his basic commands, although sometimes the excitement of his toys is simply too much to resist.  With patience, consistency and positive training, Joey has lots of potential to continue learning and developing into a wonderful companion.  Joey would suit an active home who can give him the time, exercise, interaction and stimulation that a young Patterdale Terrier needs.   He would benefit from a private garden.

Joey has socialised well with other dogs whilst in our care, so we feel he could potentially live with another dog of similar size following a successful meet and greet.

As Joey came into the home as a stray, we have no previous history on him so would prefer any children in the home to be 12+ years.
