Meet Chip!  He is looking for a patient and loving home where he can truly settle and show his wonderful personality.  When you first meet Chip, he can be quite nervous and unsure and may need a little time to feel comfortable.  Once he realises he is safe and gets to know you, though, his sweet side really starts to shine.  Chip absolutely loves fuss and attention and once he trusts you, he is an incredibly cuddly little boy who loves being close to his favourite people.  Chip walks nicely on the lead and enjoys getting out and about on long walks and adventures.  He can be quite vocal in kennels, which we feel is partly down to the environment and his uncertainty. Around other dogs, Chip can be a little unsure and isn’t particularly interested in making doggy friends – he would much rather spend his time with people!  Because of this we are looking for a home where he can be the only dog, so he can relax and enjoy having all the human attention to himself.  Chip will need adopters who understand that he may be nervous initially and are happy to give him the time and reassurance he needs to settle in.  Give this lovely boy a chance to get to know you, and you’ll discover a sweet, friendly and affectionate companion with plenty of cuddles to give.  He would benefit from a private secure garden.

As chip came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on him and as he can be a little nervous we would prefer any children in the home to be 14+ years.
