Meet gorgeous Blue! He has a sweet nature and is a friendly boy.  When meeting new people, he can be a little unsure at first, but give him a little time and he soon comes around.  He is an affectionate lad who loves a fuss and enjoys spending time with his people.  Blue can get a little overexcited, especially when greeting people and may jump up in his excitement.  He is a cheeky boy who does chase the hose pipe and brushes when the staff are cleaning.  He already knows some basic commands and is eager to learn.  When he is in his kennel, this handsome boy has a habit of watching everything that’s going on.  His intense stare and serious face can make him look intimidating at first but that is simply kennel life taking its toll on him, as once he is out, he has his happy, smiley face on.  He would benefit from an experienced home committed to continuing his training, helping him build his confidence, and providing positive socialisation experiences.  He will need a private secure garden.

Blue has socialised with other dogs whilst in our care, but does prefer a calmer female, so we feel he could potentially live with a female dog following a successful meet and greet (must be neutered).

No cats for Blue.

As Blue came into the home as a stray, we have no previous history on him so would prefer any children in the home to be 14+ years.
