Introducing Storm, a lovely female Staffordshire Bull Terrier who arrived into our care as a stray.
Storm is an intelligent and friendly lady who likes to be made a fuss of and laps up the attention.
Whilst in our care, Storm has learnt a number of basic commands such as ‘sit’, ‘paw’ and ‘’stay’ which she is more than happy to show off providing she is rewarded with a tasty treat.
When not showing off her tricks, Storm can be found playing in our secure compound, often running round with a ball or tug toy.
When out on her daily walks, it has been noted that Storm is very strong on the lead which is something her new owners must take into account. Recently, the staff have done some work with Storm using a head collar and with successful results, we would like this work to be continued in her new home. We have found that she has adjusted well to the use of the head collar and does walk better on the lead with less pulling.
Whilst out and about enjoying her time out of the kennel, Storm has met many of our other dogs. Initially, with some, she can be a little standoffish until she gets to know them and discovers they are no threat to her. With ongoing training and socialisation with other dogs here at the home, we have found she takes to other dogs immediately, appearing relaxed with plenty of sniffing and tail wagging. Moving forward, he will require such training to carry on in the home environment.
Storm is looking for an active home that can provide her with plenty of walking adventures and play time where children in the household are over the age of 16 years.
Storm must also be the only dog in your household.
