This bundle of fun is Rupert.  He is a typical Patterdale bursting with energy. He is a friendly and affectionate boy.  In true Patterdale style he loves chasing around our compound and going for long walks exploring  the area and having a good ole sniff. He does get a little nervous when putting on his harness so a slow positive approach is what works for him.  We are looking for an active home for Rupert where he can go on long walks each day to burn off all his energy.  A secure private garden is a must for him so he can have off lead time with his toys and do some mental stimulation sniffing games.  The new owner will have to continue his training and socialisation.

Rupert has interacted ok with other dogs whilst in our care but he does like his own space so we would prefer him to be the only dog in the home.

As Rupert came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on him so would prefer any children/visiting children to be 14+ years.

Rupert cannot live with cats.
