Meet our sweet boy, Rocky!
Rocky is a gentle boy who can be nervous with new people so he is looking for a kind and patient family that will go at his pace and help build up his confidence. He enjoys going on walks around our woodland area and is a good boy on them. He likes to walk right by your side and loves to be near you. Rocky is a happy, loveable boy who has so much love to give! He just needs a home that is happy to spend some time with him and build up that bond.
We think Rocky would appreciate a calm home with a relaxed environment where he can fully chill out on his bed (or a couch!) With him still being a little shy, he is to live with children aged 12 years and older – subject to a successful meet and greet.
During his time here, Rocky has interacted well with other dogs and has shared his kennel with another greyhound before they found their home! We do think he would feel happy to live with another dog of a similar size and temperament – subject to a successful meet.
Due to Rocky being a ex-racing greyhound and having a high prey drive, he is unsuitable to live with cats and small animals.
Rocky has been in our care since October. Do you think you could be the one to finally give him the forever home he has waited for?
