Meet Mellow!  This handsome little boy is looking for a home that understands and appreciates an independent dog. He is a friendly boy who enjoys being around people, but he’s very much the type to do things on his own terms.  He’s not overly needy and is happiest when allowed to potter about, sniff to his hearts content, and simply enjoy life at his own pace.  Unlike many dogs, he’s not interested in toys or treats – exploring the world through his nose is much more his thing!  He would suit someone who enjoys calm walks ad understands that affection with him is earned, not demanded.  He will happily come over for a fuss and attention when he is ready.  He can be quite vocal in the kennels so probably not suited to a flat/apartment.  We would love to see him settled in a calm home environment where he can properly relax and show his true character.  He is a sweet, quirky little dog who just needs the right people to let him be himself.
