Jonboy

This is Jonboy, a super handsome, ex racing greyhound!

Jonboy came in to our care from a racing background, so does have a high prey drive due to this. He is not suitable to live with cats or any small animals in the home. He is happy being around other dogs and does share his kennel with one of our other greyhounds. We think he would be suitable to live with another dog of a similar size, if a meet and greet was successful.

He is quite a placid boy who loves nothing more than a chill out in one of his many beds! He is a lovely boy who will always get up (although reluctantly) to come and say hello to you and give you lots of tail wags! He enjoys his comforts and a snuggle up!

Jonboy really enjoys his walks with our volunteers and will have a good sniff of everything along the way! He would be great for a family that enjoys going out for a walk but also likes to chill out for the rest of the day!

With his friendly nature, we feel he could potentially live in a home where children are 12 years or older – subject to a successful meet. However, we do think he would appreciate a quieter home where he can relax and chill out. Do you think Jonboy would be the perfect match for you?
