Ivy arrived into our care as a stray last month. She is a sweet girl who can be a nervous and tentative.
Ivy is a lovely dog who came to us very nervous. She spent a lot of her time at first in her bed, very scared and reluctant to engage.
Ivy has come out of her shell since then and although she can still be nervous and skittish, she enjoys going out of the kennel for a walk.
Whilst out and about, Ivy has has met a few of the dogs here and although she has interacted well, she isn’t particularly confident around them, therefore we feel Ivy would be best suited to a home where there no other dogs. She takes treats nicely and likes to play with her toys in her kennel.
Ivy will need a calm home with a patient family who can provide ongoing training and socialisation, and will need to be willing to work with Ivy to make her feel more calm and relaxed generally.
Ivy will require several visits and will need to be with children over the age of 14
