This gorgeous boy is Helix.  He was very timid and nervous when he first came into us and it took the staff some time to gain his trust.  He was very vocal when you approached his kennel and would hide at the back.  Once Helix has got to know you he will show you his friendly bouncy side and is always up for lots of fuss.  We are looking for an active home for Helix where he can get all the exercise and mental stimulation he will need everyday.  Previous breed experience preferred.  Helix will need continued training and socialisation.  A private secure garden is a must for him so he can have safe off lead time in between his walks.

Helix has socialised with other dogs whilst in our care but is very unsure around them and can be a bit barky so for this reason we would like him to be the only dog in the home where he can take his time being around other dogs whilst out on walks with the full support of the new adopter.

No cats for Helix.

As Helix came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on him so would prefer any children in the home to be 12+ years.
