Ernie

Meet our big friendly giant Ernie an 8 year old Mastiff cross who came into our care as a stray. On arrival Ernie seemed nervous but it didn’t take him long to come out of his shell.

Ernie is a very gentle boy who loves a good fuss and seeks out affection from people. He is very well behaved in his kennel and well mannered he isn’t boisterous and is a big softy at heart. Ernie can get excited when it is time to go for a walk but when outside he is perfect on the lead and doesn’t need any correction for lead training at all. He seems curious when he sees other people & dogs and just want to say hello.

Ernie has been paired with both female and male dogs in our care and gets along just fine with them he initiates play and loves to have a good run around. He is also very good at his agility and loves spending time in our outdoor compounds doing tricks in return for a tasty treat!

Ernie would suit someone with big dog experience and someone who is willing to carry on further training with him. He is a very lovely boy who is looking for an active home and Ernie could possibly live with children in the household who are 14+
