This lovely boy is Elvis.

When this lovely boy first arrived into our care he was understandably unsure and would growl when someone approached his kennel.  This was simply his way of telling us he was frightened and needed space while he settled in.  Since then he has made great progress and is now much more comfortable with people entering his space.  With time, patience and consistent care he has learned to trust and is showing us his true gentle and friendly nature.  This little boy just needed a little time to feel safe.  Like many dogs he isn’t a fan of visiting the vets and can find these experiences quite stressful, so he will need an understanding owner who can help him feel as comfortable as possible in these situations.  He is also a bit of an escape artist, so a secure private garden is an absolute must to keep him safe.  He’s a clever boy who likes to explore so supervision will be important in his new home.  Elvis loves his time off lead in our compound where he can do zoomies to his hearts content, he is also partial to the odd bum scratch or two. He enjoys going for walks exploring and having a sniff and walks nicely on his lead.

Elvis has interacted with other dogs whilst in our care and whilst he can be quite barky from a distance he does settle down once he has met them.  We feel he would be best rehomed as the only dog in the home where his new adopter can work on him feeling comfortable around other dogs.

As Elvis came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on him so would prefer any children/visiting children in the home to be
