Meet Dave, a male Patterdale Terrier cross that arrived into our care as a stray.
On arrival, Dave was nervous and struggled to settle into the kennel environment. Having said that, he has been friendly towards the staff and appreciates lots of attention and affection.
We found over the coming days that Dave was much more confident when spending time outside of his kennel going on his daily walks. This is when his real character shines through as he rolls across the grass and explores the great outdoors!
When meeting other dogs, Dave becomes vocal and will pull on the lead. However, once up close he is happy to interact, will sniff the other dogs and then happily carry on with his walk.
Dave is looking for a home where children in the household are over the age of 14 years and where his new owners are able to provide him with ongoing training and socialisation.
Dave is unable to live with cats.
