This lovely girl is Cookie. She is a very friendly lively girl who loves lots of cuddles and attention. Cookies favourite thing to do is to go for long walks, exploring the area and having some off lead time in our compounds sniffing around and playing she can be very strong and bouncy when on her lead. Cookie knows her basic commands and will give paw for a tasty treat but will need further socialisation and training in her new home

Previous breed knowledge is essential due to her being a working breed that requires constant daily mental stimulation and enrichment such as scent work or agility and would thrive with a job to do.

Despite her being a lively girl Cookie also loves a cuddle in her kennel and is very eager to please, and will bring you over her toys to play.

Cookie has interacted well with other dogs whilst being in our care so feel she could be rehoused with a dog of similar size and energy following a successful meet and greet.

As Cookie came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on her so would prefer any children in the home to be 14+ years

Applications that are successful will be provided with further information on each dog to the best of the charity’s knowledge.

Being a typical foxhound Cookie can be very vocal so would not be suited to living in a flat/apartment and would need to have access to a private secure garden in an active home.
