Chance came into the home as a stray.  He is very nervous and unsure of new people but with time and patience he does gain his confidence and has shown himself to be a friendly and affectionate boy. Chance’s favourite time of the day is off lead in the compound where he loves to chase around. As he is very timid with strangers the new adopter will have to commit to multiple meet and greets to allow Chance to get to know them before the adoption takes place. He would benefit from ongoing training and socialisation to gain his confidence in new surroundings.

Chance has interacted well with other dogs whilst in our care so following a successful meet and greet could be rehomed with another dog of similar size and quiet nature.

We are unsure how Chance would react around cats.

As Chance came into us as a stray we have no previous history on him so would prefer any children/visiting children in the household to be 16+ years.

Applications that are successful will be provided with further information on each dog to the best of the charity’s knowledge.
