The gorgeous boy is Burt.  Burt is a loving and affectionate lad who loves to sit on your lap for lots of fuss and cuddles.  The best part of his day is going for long walks exploring and he walks well on a lead.  The staff are currently working with Burt as he really doesn’t like going to the vets so they are working on his socialisation and getting him used to being touched all over his body.  The new adopter would need to carry on this socialisation to build up Burt’s confidence in new situations/surroundings.

Burt has interacted well with other dogs whilst in our care and is currently sharing his kennel with another dog so following a successful meet and greet could be rehomed with another dog of similar size.

We are unsure how Burt would react around cats.

As Burt came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on him so would prefer any children/visiting children in the home to be 14+ years.

Applications that are successful will be provided with further information on each dog to the best of the charity’s knowledge.
