Meet boisterous Bruno! A young German Shepherd who arrived into our care as a stray.
On arrival, Bruno was very nervous & unsure of how to interact with the staff.
However, over a short period of time he has gained confidence with the staff members he spends time with daily and is continuing to make further progress each day.
Bruno loves attention and believes barking will get him what he wants, meaning he can be quite vocal at times. He has been known to forget his manners and will jump up and display mouthing behaviours. This is something applicants must be prepared to work with, with regular training.
Bruno enjoys spending time outside of his kennel and gets excited when it’s time for his daily walks. He has lots of energy to burn so moving forward will be looking for an active owner who is able to provide him with plenty of exercise.
Whilst on his daily walks, Bruno has met a number of our other dogs. Although initially he interacts well, he can be too full on at times therefore is best suited to being the only dog in the household.
Moving forward, Bruno is looking for a home where his owners have experience of the German Shepherd Breed.
Applicants must be able to provide Bruno with the ongoing training and socialisation that he requires.
As stated previously, Bruno must be the only dog in the household. Children in the household must be over the age of 16 years and he is unable to live with cats.
As mentioned, Bruno was nervous when he first arrived therefore applicants must take into account that he may require several visits before the adoption can take place.
