Introducing Bobby; a bouncy and boisterous Lurcher pup who originally came into our care as a stray at just 3 months old. Bobby was rehomed in October but has unfortunately been returned to our kennels.
Bobby is a loving and playful pup who responds well to praise. He is looking for an experienced and committed owner who can provide him with all the training and socialisation he needs in order to live a fulfilled and happy life.
Whilst in a home, Bobby has shown he is eager to learn and has developed a number of skills on command such as ‘sit’, ‘down’ and ‘stay’, to name but a few.
He is an intelligent pup who requires plenty of stimulation to keep his active mind busy. He’s a fan of high value treats, stuffed kongs and LOVES his toys.
As with the majority of pups, Bobby has shown evidence of chewing around the house and stealing things that aren’t particularly meant for him. He can have hyper moments and can often be a little clumsy. These are things his new owners need to take into account and why ideally, Bobby would benefit from a family where someone is home the majority of the time.
Bobby enjoys being made a fuss of and adores being centre of attention. At the moment, he is teething and going through a ‘mouthing’ stage which is something his new owner will need to work on.
When out on his daily walks, Bobby walks well on a harness but can pull and be a little bouncy at times so will require ongoing lead training.
He has been eager to meet a number of our other residents and will initiate play with every dog he meets! Bearing in mind he is only 5 months old, he lacks the knowledge of personal space and can be a little overbearing for some.
Bobby is looking for a home where children are over the age of 16 years, and he is unable to live with cats.
If you feel you can provide Bobby with the ideal home, where he can be taken on plenty of walking adventures, be provided with hours of entertainment and given a whole lot of love, please fill in an application form.
