This shy sweet lady is August.
August came into our care very nervous and unsure, with time and patients she has started to trust and accept staff here at the home, slowly coming out of her shell. Once comfortable she does enjoy her fusses and loves. She will need an understanding and patient family.
Whilst in our care August has socialised well and has interacted with a range of different dogs. However she does prefer her own space. For this reason, we do believe she would prefer to be the only dog in the home.
We are unsure how August reacts towards cats.
Due to August coming in as a stray, we have no previous history on her. Because at first, she can be very unsure and nervous, August would be best suited to an adult only home willing to give her time to settle.
