Meet Piglet!  Piglet is a beautiful girl who is looking for a special home to call her own.  When Piglet first arrived with us, she was a very frightened little girl.  She would hide herself away in a corner, shaking and unsure of the world around her.  But with patience, reassurance and a few tasty treats, we’ve slowly started to see her lovely little personality shine through.  Piglet is the sweetest girl who absolutely loves affection once she feels safe.  She adores fuss and cuddles and will take any opportunity to jump up onto your lap for some attention.  She’s a real little love bug who just wants to feel safe and loved.  She is still a little unsure when out and about on a walk, so she’ll need someone willing to take things slowly and help build her confidence at her own pace.  Piglet is looking for a quiet, loving home where she can settle at her own pace, without too much pressure or expectation.  She will need understanding patient adopters who are happy to give her the time and reassurance she needs to feel secure.  Piglet may be a little nervous to begin with, but underneath that fear is a very sweet, affectionate girl who has so much love to give.   All she needs is someone to believe in her, give her time and show her the world can be a kind and safe place. She would benefit from a private secure garden.

Piglet has socialised well with other dogs while in our care, so we feel she could potentially live with another small calm dog following a successful meet and greet (must be neutered).

We are unsure how she would react around cats.

As Piglet came into us as a stray, we have no previous history on her and as she can be nervous we would prefer any children/visiting children to be 14+ years.
