Meet Prince! He is full of love, fun and personality.  Prince is a very affectionate boy who absolutely loves his fuss.  He thrives on attention and would happily soak up all the love you have to give.  He’s a playful, energetic lad who enjoys getting involved in everything and is always ready for his next adventure.  He enjoys his long walks so will need an active home where he can get all the exercise he needs.  One of Prince’s favourite things is chasing his ball – he could happily spend plenty of time playing and having fun. On sunny days, he also loves nothing more than jumping in the paddling pool for a splash around! Prince is a bright boy and already knows quite a few commands including sit, paw and spin.  He enjoys learning and would really benefit from an adopter who can continue his training. As you might expect from such an energetic and playful boy, Prince can get over-excited at times when staff are cleaning his kennel. He finds the hose particularly exciting and loves to chase it!  He can also pull quite strongly on the lead, so his new family will need to be prepared to continue to work on his lead manners and help him to walk calmly. Prince is looking for someone who will embrace his big personality, give him plenty of love and attention, and continue helping him learn and mature.  He will need a private secure garden so he can safely have off lead time chasing around with his toys.

Prince has socialised well with other dogs whilst in our care, although when he is behind a gate he does bark at other dogs, but as soon as he is up close with them he is absolutely fine.  We feel he would best be rehomed as the only dog in the home where his new adopter can continue building up his confidence around other dogs in a controlled environment with lots of positive reinforcement.

No cats or small furries for Prince.

As Prince came into the home as a stray, we have no previous history on him so would prefer any children in the home to be 14+ years.
