Meet this crazy boy, Spike!

Spike has heaps of energy and absolutely loves being out and about on his walks! He can be quite boisterous and has zero personal space – he will always try to give you as many kisses and cuddles as he can!

He can be quite strong on his lead so would be looking for a home that is happy to handle slightly larger, more energetic dogs or be willing to work on his training to help with this. He can be a cheeky boy and does like to have a little chew on his lead on his walks and whilst trying to get his harness on! He is only a young boy so would definitely benefit from some training and socialisation.

We think Spike would love to have his own garden space so he can burn some of his energy off and play with his toys during the times when he isn’t able to go for a walk.

Whilst he has been with us, he has interacted with most dogs very well, however we do think he is a bit of a ladies boy as he much prefers the females to the males! We feel that he could potentially live in a home with another dog but possibly a female would suit better, and one that matches his energy levels! This would be subject to a successful meet and greet.

We also do think he would like a home where children are 16 years or older due to him being crazy and he can be a little mouthy – subject to a successful meet.
