This absolute superstar is Hattie.  Hattie came into us as a stray and had a deformed leg which our vet thinks was an old break that hadn’t been treated. She was in a lot of pain with this leg and was struggling to get around so the decision was made to amputate it to give Hattie the best chance at a normal pain free life.  She has been amazing and has took it all in her stride and is now running around pain free and enjoying life. Hattie is such a sweet and friendly girl and loves everyone she meets.

Hattie’s weight will need to be strictly monitored making sure she doesn’t put any more weight on and put more pressure on her 3 remaining legs. She will need short walks and often – no long walks for her and she will need to be kept on a lead most of the time.  A private secure garden would be a must for her so she can have some monitored off lead time.  We also think she could be partially deaf which makes this sweet girl even more special. Hattie has interacted well with other dogs whilst in our care but we feel it would be in her best interests to be rehomed as the only dog in the home.

As Hattie came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on her so would prefer any children/visiting children to be 14+ years.

We are unsure how she would react around cats.
