This timid little boy is Sonny.  When he first came into us he was scared of his own shadow.  Over the last few months the staff have spent lots of time with him gently gaining his trust and now you can see the friendly loving boy shine through. He will need lots of time and patience for him to gain his trust and confidence. We are looking for a quiet home for Sonny, preferably with someone that has had previous experience of very timid and shy dogs. It is a quite specific home he will need.  The new adopters would have to continue his training and socialisation to build up his confidence.  He will need multiple meet and greets (which would need to be done quite close together) to get to know his potential adopters before adoption can take place. Sonny will need a private secure garden.

Sonny has socialised well with other dogs but does prefer a quieter calm dog, therefore, we feel he could be rehomed with another dog that was calm and not too giddy.

As Sonny is so nervous we would prefer an adult only home for him.

Applications that are successful will be provided with further information on each dog to the best of the charity’s knowledge.
