Meet Mabel!  Mabel was very nervous and timid when she first came into us but with lots of time and TLC she has come around and shown the staff what a sweet girl she is. She loves a fuss and lots of strokes.  Mabel will need a quiet home with someone experienced with very timid large breed dogs where she can take her time gaining her confidence and getting used to new people/surroundings. She does know her basic commands and would benefit greatly from ongoing training and socialisation.  The potential adopter will need to commit to multiple meet and greets before the adoption could take place.  Mabel will need a private secure garden.

Mabel has interacted with other dogs whilst in our care but is very nervous and unsure around them so we feel she would be best rehomed as the only dog in the home, this way she can take her time getting used to other dogs and building up her confidence.

As Mabel came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on her so would prefer any children in the home to be 16+ years.
