Meet Lisa!  Lisa was brought into the home as a stray with her brother Bart.  She was very nervous and timid but over the last couple of weeks she has gained a little bit of confidence with the staff.  Once she knows you Lisa is a friendly and affectionate girl.  She is bursting with energy so will need lots of exercise and mental stimulation every day.  We are looking for an experienced home that has worked with shy/timid dogs previously and will give her plenty of time and support whilst she navigates her new home and surroundings.  Ongoing training and socialisation is a must for this gorgeous girl. It may take her some time to fully come around so she will need someone with lots of experience, time and patience that will support her and not rush her during this vital part of her transition. Lisa will need a private secure garden.

Lisa has interacted well with other dogs whilst in our care and does gain her confidence from them so we feel following a successful meet and greet she could live with another similar sized dog (must be neutered).

As Lisa can be very timid and unsure around people and sudden movements we would like any children in the home to be 16+ years.

Applications that are successful will be provided with further information on each dog to the best of the charity’s knowledge.
