Meet Bart!  Bart was brought into the home as a stray with his Sister Lisa.  He was very nervous and timid but over the last couple of weeks he has gained a little bit of confidence with the staff.  Once he knows you Bart is a friendly and affectionate boy.  He is bursting with energy so will need lots of exercise and mental stimulation every day.  We are looking for an experienced home that has worked with shy/timid dogs previously and will give him plenty of time and support whilst he navigates his new home and surroundings.  Ongoing training and socialisation is a must for this gorgeous boy. It may take him some time to fully come around so he will need someone with lots of time and patience that will support him during this vital part of his transition.  Bart will need a private secure garden.

Bart has interacted well with other dogs whilst in our care and does gain his confidence from them so we feel following a successful meet and greet he could live with another similar sized dog (must be neutered).

As Bart can be very timid and unsure around people and sudden movements we would like any children in the home to be 16+ years.

Applications that are successful will be provided with further information on each dog to the best of the charity’s knowledge.
