Meet Ash!  Ash (12kg) is a lovely, friendly and confident boy who absolutely adores people.  He is a real people-lover who thrives on human attention and enjoys nothing more than having lots of fuss, cuddles and affection.  He’s a happy, outgoing boy with a lovely personality and plenty of love to give.  Ash enjoys his long walks and particularly loves getting out and about to explore his surroundings, taking in all the interesting smells along the way.  He walks nicely on the lead and will make a lovely companion for someone who enjoys getting out for walks and adventures.  Like many young dogs, Ash does have a few things he will need some help with.  He’s very enthusiastic when it comes to getting attention and will jump up at people, so he’ll benefit from continued training and consistent boundaries.  He does also hump people, which will need to be addressed through calm, consistent guidance.  Ash can become very vocal when left in his kennel, crying because he’d much rather be with people.  The new adopter must take this into consideration before applying as he may need introducing to being left alone slowly at a pace he is comfortable with so he can get to the point where he is happy to be left for a little bit.  Ash is a sociable boy who really enjoys human company, so he’s looking for a home where he’ll receive plenty of love, attention and interaction.  Ash has so much affection to offer and will make a wonderful companion for someone willing to give him the time, patience and guidance he needs.  Ash will need a private secure garden.

Ash has interacted well with other dogs while in our care, so we do feel he could potentially be rehomed with another dog of similar size following a successful meet and greet.

As Ash came into us as a stray, we have no previous history on him, so would prefer any children in the home to be 16+ years.
