Meet Stanley!!  He is a handsome boy with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life!  Stanley is a very lively, playful, and giddy boy who loves being around people.  He’s friendly and affectionate, always ready for fun and eager to make new friends.  His enthusiasm for life is infectious, and he will make a fantastic companion for someone who enjoys the outdoors and has an active lifestyle.  Like many young, energetic dogs, Stanley will benefit from some continued training.  He still needs to learn his basic commands and can be quite strong on the lead, so his new adopter should be prepared to put in time and consistency to help him develop good manners.  Stanley can also get overexcited and does display humping behaviour.  This is something that can be managed with positive, consistent training and appropriate redirection.  Stanley is looking for an active home where he’ll receive plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and ongoing training.  He will need a private secure garden.

Stanley has socialised well with other dogs while in our care, and is very giddy and playful.  We do feel he could potentially live with another dog of similar size and energy level following a successful meet and greet.

As Stanley came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on him and as he can be quite humpy, we would like any children in the home to be 14+ years.
