This handsome boy is Shadow.  He is proof that age is just a number as he is still full of life, energy and enthusiasm, and would suit a home that can match his playful spirit. He absolutely loves his toys and will happily spend time playing, whether it’s a game of tug or chasing his tennis balls.  When playtime is over, he is just as happy to settle down for some affection – belly rubs are his weakness and he will gladly soak up all the love you can give.  He is a friendly and affectionate boy who enjoys human company and would make a loyal companion.  He is best suited to a home where he can get plenty of attention and interaction.  Shadow loves going for long walks but is very strong on the lead so lead training would need to be continued. He would benefit from a private secure garden.

In terms of other dogs, he is comfortable around female dogs and can get along with smaller males.  However, he isn’t very comfortable around larger more confident dogs although he is happy to walk alongside them if they respect his space.

As Shadow came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on him so would prefer any children in the home to be 14+ years.
