This lovely boy is Chewbacca!  He is full of character and affection. He is an incredibly friendly and loving companion who thrives on human attention.  His favourite place to be is right by your side, or even better curled up on your knee soaking up all the fuss and cuddles he can get. He is a well mannered boy when it comes to handling.  He’s good at the vets and enjoys being groomed, making him easy to care for in those important areas. He’s also social and gets along well with other dogs, so could share his home with a canine companion following a successful meet and greet.  Like many dogs in a kennel environment, he can be quite vocal, so he will need patient adopters who understand this and can help him settle into a home routine.  He will also need some support with house training, as he does currently wee in his bed.  He is a clever and determined little dog with a mischievous streak – an experienced escape artist who will need a secure home and garden to keep him safe.  With the right guidance, patience and plenty of love, he will make a wonderfully loyal and affectionate companion.  If you are looking for a dog who will keep you company, keep you smiling and always be ready for a cuddle he could be your perfect match.

We are unsure how Chewbacca would react around cats.

As Chewbacca came into the home as a stray, we have no previous history on him so would prefer any children in the home to be 12+ years.
