Meet Marvellous Matteo!  Matteo is a fun loving and happy boy.  He loves to say hello to everyone he sees hoping for strokes and a tasty treat.  He is very lively and bursting with energy but can be a bit mouthy when he gets over excited. His favourite part of the day is going for long walks in the area exploring and having a sniff with his walking buddies and he does walk nicely on his lead. Matteo’s coat was very over grown and matted when he came into him so he has had to be shaved.  The potential adopter would need to take into account that he will need daily grooming and regular trips to the grooming salon to keep his coat in a healthy and tip top condition. ( I have included in the pictures below a picture of him before he was clipped).  We are looking for an active home for Matteo where he can get all the exercise and mental stimulation he will need everyday.  He would benefit from a private secure garden so he can safely have off lead time.

Matteo has socialised well with other dogs whilst in our care and is very playful so we feel following a successful meet and greet he could be rehomed with another playful dog of similar size.

As Matteo came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on him so would prefer any children in the home to be 12+ years.
