Meet Toby, a 12 year old Border Collie who arrived into our care as a stray.
When Toby first arrived, he was wary of the kennel environment and unsure of how to interact with the staff.
Over the following days, he started to trust the staff members caring for him and began to greet them at the front on the kennel with a wagging tail.
Now, Toby is happy to show off his toy collection and sit for a treat.
Toby enjoys spending time out of the kennel and likes to go on his daily walks.
Despite being classed as a senior, Toby shows no signs of slowing down and still has plenty of energy to burn whilst displaying typical Collie behaviours.
Whilst out on his walks, Toby has met some of our other dogs and has interacted well, appearing sociable with plenty of tail wagging.
Toby is looking for an experienced owner with knowledge of the Border Collie breed where any children in the household are over the age of 16 years.
