Introducing Peppa, a beautiful French Bulldog who originally arrived into our care in 2021 as a rehome.
Peppa did go out to a home last year but unfortunately, due to a change of her new owners’ circumstances, she has recently been returned to us.
When she first returned to us, Peppa appeared nervous and confused to be back in kennels and it took a couple of days for the staff to win her round. Luckily, Peppa now appears less stressed and has settled back into a routine with us. Having said that, she can still have her moments when she can be a little wary around new people and situations but we are continuing to work on socialising and confidence building.
Peppa has met a number of our other dogs and has interacted well though is quite happy to do her own thing.
Due to recent weight gain, Peppa has slowed down on her walks and tends to tire easily. Moving forward, this is something potential adopters will need to take into consideration and must be able to invest the time in assisting Peppa to lose some weight in order for her to enjoy more fulfilling walks.
Peppa is looking for a home where children are over the age of 12 years and she is best suited to being the only dog in the household.
If you feel you can provide Peppa with the perfect forever home, please fill in an application form.
