Meet Missy!  Missy is a lovely girl but can be very wary and unsure of new people although it doesn’t take her long to come around especially if you have some tasty treats.  We are currently working on muzzle training her as she is very scared in the vets and can be snappy, this is something the new adopter will have to continue. We are looking for an experienced owner that has had timid large breed dogs previously.  Missy will just need time and patience whilst she navigates her new home and meeting different people.  The adopter will have to support her during this process and give her space and time to become more confident. Missy will need a private secure garden.

Missy has interacted ok with other dogs whilst in our care although she is very unsure of bouncy and boisterous dogs.  We feel she could be rehomed with another calm dog following a successful meet and greet.

As Missy came into the home as a stray we have no previous history on her so would prefer any children/visiting children in the home to be 16+ years.

Applications that are successful will be provided with further information on each dog to the best of the charity’s knowledge.
