Gilmore is a 5 year old cross jack Russell terrier who arrived here as a stray.
It was clear on arrival that Gilmore was very scared and didn’t want to interact with anyone spending most of his days in his bed.
It took longer than most to win Gilmore round but with patience and time he slowly began to trust his carer when she was in his kennel. When out and about on his walks he was still clearly nervous and scared of his surroundings and was scared of other dogs, he is also very wary of men. It has been a month now since Gilmore arrived and he has grown in confidence and will greet you wagging his tail and wanting attention.
We are looking for a quiet and experienced home for Gilmore and a new owner to continue to build his confidence around new situations and also to socialise him with other dogs at his own pace.
Due to Gilmores nervousness, he will need an owner to commit to several visits to gain his trust.
Children in the household would need to be over the age of 16 years and he is unable to live with cats.
If you can offer this boy the home he needs and to show him the world is not so scary please fill in an application form.
