He arrived into our care as a rehome.
On arrival Fletcher was wary of the kennel environment, behaving very quiet and reserved, clearly nervous of his new surroundings. Over the coming days, he slowly began to grow in confidence around the staff he interacted with often and is now starting to show more of his character.
Although still cautious at times, Fletcher will jump up to those he trusts for affection. He enjoys being fussed and will happily accept plenty of treats!
When Fletcher first began going on his daily walks, he appeared scared of everything and didn’t look to be enjoying the experience. However, now he has a daily routine and is familiar with his surroundings, he loves to explore the great outdoors and sometimes gets so excited he does zoomies!
Fletcher has met both male and female dogs whilst in our care. Although a little unsure at first, he does relax and become playful with some and others he chooses to ignore.
Fletcher is looking for an owner who is able to provide ongoing training and socialisation.
Fletcher has demonstrated mouthing behaviours, therefore he will need an owner who is able to set boundaries and work with him to overcome these habits.
Due to Fletchers nervous nature, successful applicants must understand that he may require several visits here at the home before the adoption can take place.
Fletcher is looking for a home where there are no children under 14 years and he is unable to live with cats.
