Introducing Dumbo, an 18 month old cross breed who arrived here as a stray.
Dumbo was nervous on arrival and very scared of the kennel environment.
Over time, he has grown in confidence and has spent time with the staff playing in our secure exercise area where he has been more than happy to play with toys and chase balls.
When out on his daily walks, Dumbo can get excited, often a little giddy and bouncy and can sometimes pull on the lead. This is something his new owners need to be mindful of & understand he will require some lead training.
Dumbo has interacted well with the dogs he has met here and has been eager to play with some of our residents in our secure play area.
Although Dumbo has made great progress and trusts the staff members he interacts with daily, he will need to be adopted by a family with children over the age of 14 years who are able to invest the time in further confidence building and can commit the time to ongoing training and socialisation.
