Meet our lovely boy Digory, he is a 1 year old husky who came into our care
as a stray when Digory first came to the home he was quite timid and nervous
of some staff members. He soon warmed up to them and quickly came out of his
shell and shown his playful puppy side.
He is a very sweet, playful boy who loves a good fuss from everyone he meets
including volunteers and is fine going for walks with them, he can be strong
the the lead and jumps up at people for attention so he will need further
training and correction.
Digory has been paired with both male and female dogs at first he can be
unsure and nervous but once he says hello to the dog he is fine and is
usually the first to initiate play. He would need someone who is willing to
regularly socialise him with other dogs & people to boost his confidence
even more.
Digory would suit a home where he is give the most love and affection,
someone who has the time to put into his training and socialisation needs
and this would need to be a adult only home as Digory can be quite nervous
when first meeting new people, he would also require a couple of visits to
get to know his new owners.
