Introducing the very handsome Devon a quirky 4 yr old crossbreed who came to us as a stray back in October, and is now ready to find his special home.
Devon arrived in a bit of a sorry, neglected state; he was very nervous, and reluctant to engage with staff and other canine residents. However, with the right treatment, patience and understanding, this little man, although small in stature is now a healthy, happy little chap with a huge character.
Devon can still be wary of strangers, but once he is confident he is very affectionate, loves to play and is happy to be handled. He walks perfectly on the lead, although when out and about he can be a little nervous when it comes to loud noises, and sudden moves, and he can still be a little vocal when he sees other (particularly large) dogs, and will constantly look to you for reassurance. This considered Devon will need a patient owner, and one who is willing to continue his training and socialisation to enable Devon to be the best he can be.
Devon loves human company, we feel he would be best suited to a nice quiet environment, so younger humans 16+ please.
