Chico

This little cutie is Chico, a Chihuahua cross who arrived into our care as a stray.

Although nervous on arrival, Chico has grown in confidence throughout his stay here and has shown what a friendly little man he truly is. Once he trusts you, he likes to to be fussed and will happily stand beside you with his tail wagging.

When meeting other dogs whilst out on his daily walks, Chico has been friendly and happy to meet those that are calm. He has been a little unsure around those that are more confident and although friendly, would prefer not to have other dogs in his face.

Chico can still be wary around strangers and is particularly nervous around men. Potential adopters must be able to commit to a number of meetings if required and have the time and patience to invest in further confidence building and socialisation.
